Reservation lost? Rushed into a tour that was not in our language. The company did not pick us up at the time and location provided by Viator. I was in contact with both the tour company and Viator while a very nice tour guide completely unrelated to the tour started to help us. Finally, about 45 minutes after the time we were to depart, a car pulled up and this other guide told us to get in (the driver spoke no English) and off we went. About a half hour later, we ended up at a fiber demonstration / store where a man came out and said that he would be our guide. While very nice, he didn’t speak much English either (we booked an English tour) and the rest of the group (maybe 16 people) spoke ONLY Spanish. The guide said that he was happy to help us out by having us join his group “at the last minute,” and we had booked this four months prior. The whole day was pretty rushed. He said that that is normally a two-day tour. We ended up enjoying our time, but the start to the day was very hard to come back from. And we’ve received no apologies or explanation as to what happened. Excellent service Visiting Machu Picchu requieres months of planning in advance. Assuming you are in Cusco, you still need ground transportation to Ollataybampo, train to Aguas Calientes, accomodation there, tickets to the archeological site (which the agencies cannot guarantee since they are government controlled). Well, I didn't plan at all and they made it happen in 24h whereas the rest of the travel agencies said it was impossible. Nevado Quelcaya Espectacular!!!! Una experiencia inolvidable en el nevado Quelcaya. El paisaje es impresionante, con vistas espectaculares de montañas y glaciares que te dejan sin palabras. El recorrido está muy bien organizado, nuestro guía conocía perfectamente la zona, nos explicó todo sobre la geografía y nos cuidó en todo momento.
